Dr. Dorothea Trapp

holds a PhD in physics and is the founder of trapped in the web. At various international research institutes she worked on questions of modern atmospheric science with methods of trace gas analysis and modeling (Institute for Environmental Physics at the University of Heidelberg, Department of Chemistry at the University of Southern California Irvine, Atmospheric Chemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz, Center for Anaethesiology, Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine at the University of Göttingen, Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research in Katlenburg-Lindau).

She also worked in various software and telecommunication companies. Software documentation and quality management as well as database analysis / management report generation were her fields of activities.

Ms. Trapp received her diploma in physics from the University of Heidelberg and her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in cooperation with the University of Heidelberg. Additionally, she has a formal qualification as Multimedia- und Internet designer and as e-Learning Author.
She runs her own business in e-Learning, internet development and software training since Spring 2003.

In August 2007 the company trapped in the web moved from the Kiel Fjord (Baltic Coast) to Berlin, Germany.
